Resume
- I prepared my
PhD thesis during the academic years 1989-1993 at
CERFACS in Toulouse (France) and
received my Ph.D. degree in computational fluid
mechanics from the University "P. Sabatier" -
Toulouse III, in Toulouse (France) in 1994.
- In 1993-1996 I
worked as researcher in the Applied Mathematics and
Computational Mechanics Team at CRS4 in Cagliari (Italy).
- In 1997 I
joined IMATI-CNR (formerly IAN-CNR) in
Pavia (Italy) where I am currently a senior
researcher.
- In 2010 I have
been graded third out of eleven finalists in the
national
evaluation to become research director.
- Main research
interests: numerical methods for partial differential
equations, finite elements, finite volumes, compatible
and mimetic schemes for elliptic problems.
- My H-index is 12 according to the databases ISI-Web of Knowledge and ResearcherId. Citation metrics are available from my account at Researcherid.com
